There was a kitchen to prepare food and a dishwasher for easy cleanup afterwards. We also enjoyed the fireplace that they kept well stocked with wood. They supplied towels for every bed and soap for the bathrooms.

It is a beautiful older building renovated to a very nice condition, with many lovely antiques as decorative features. Our room #3 on the 2nd floor was very comfortable with a private bathroom. Opening windows in both provided excellent ventilation. The downstairs was for all guests to use and was spacious and comfortable with two couches, a large rustic dining table and a fully equipped kitchen with various types of breakfast items to make ourselves a nice breakfast.
We stayed here for the night while walking the Camino de Santiago due to being unable to find something closer to the usual stage end. We’re pleased that we did although it meant that we had to walk 32km to get there. We ate dinner at the only restaurant in town, Mesón los Hidalgos, and it was a wonderful experience with authentic Spanish cuisine. The lady serving us was delightful!
We were able to rejoin the Camino via an alternate route by a well marked path, and it worked out well. Overall a lovely, affordable place to stay. It can sleep 11 people overall and can be rented as a whole by groups. This would make a wonderful home base to explore this region for about €25 per person per night.

Lovely old house that has been in the same family for generations. Very cozy and comfortable. Dinner and breakfast were beautifully cooked and presented by the hostess. Lovely local food. Secure bike storage provided off the premises at a small fee. Entertainment down the road by a local group of music was a bonus
