Location - could not have been better, just steps to the beach and very close to El Campello centre.
Very clean and comfortable and fully equipped kitchen. We wanted for nothing.
Jose was a fabulous host, arranging a pickup from the airport to agreeing to a later check-out on our last morning.

Hostal San Juan is a great place if you are visiting Alicante
Its not a "hostal" as we think of it, its really lovely place with a bed/breakfast/dinner type feel.
What more do you want, the amazing beach is 20 meters from the hotel accross the road.
For those who havent been to this part of Spain, Ill explain what I love about this area. Its peaceful, it has 7kms of unspoilt beach to sit down and relax, its perfect for family holidays or couples. Its so nice, honestly, just do a day trip there an youll understand if not sure.
The hostal put me in a lovely unit room, with lovely shower and bed - it seemed it was brand new or recently built. The room was so comfortable and I loved staying in this room. Aircon etc everything. Would you believe at the start of October the temperature was 30C - so its great for those wanting a small holiday after the start of school term as well when its cheaper and less busy.
So the location as I said is by the beach. Its great for doing short trips to Alicante Town Centre, El Campello is walking distance away and I went one day to Benidormi even via the Tram right outside the hotel... Benidorm is a mixed bag haha, but worth a day trip to look around. I was glad I chose to stay in San Juan lets say that!
Finally - This Hostal is so well run, the staff were so kind and nice to me you have no idea. I want to thank them for how they treated me when I stayed for 5 nights at the start of October. I would come back in a heart beat and probably will find a way to come back soon enough!

Great place. The apartment have everything you need, nicely equipped. The apartment and building itself family friendly, with nice pool. The air con was saviour for the hot days.
Location is great, right beside the beach, public transport 2 min walk, shop 10 min.
The accommodation is very comfortable, it is a nice spacious apartment, with a nice sea view. What's great is that in the accommodation there is a possibility of a variety of sports activities, tennis, squash, table tennis, swimming in the pool or football on the playground. It is a great place for families with children. We definitely recommend

Lovely, comfortable and airy apartment! Very child friendly, loved that there was a high chair and travel cot available. Swimming pool is great with a shallow area for small children!

Great location, 5 min from the wonderful beach. Mercadona grocery within 10 min walk, or smaller Dia grocery within 5 min walk. Restaurants up to 10 min walk and tram stop within 5 min as well. Calm location, no parties around, ideal for family vacation. Small swimming pools available for the guests, so don't need to go to the beach if kids tired and want just jumping to the pool :-D
