The room was beautifully decorated and spotless, plenty of room for two people. The bed was very comfortable, and we both slept well.. The on suite bathroom too was well equipped and clean. great shower, plenty of hot water, the toiletries were very useful and a god send for me, a hairdryer. We had the options of various dishes for breakfast, we choose the toasted croissants filled with ham and cheese and tomatoes with toast (Spanish style) and there was always more if you wanted it. The owners very friendly, and informative. nothing was too much trouble, We will stay again.

Everything was perfect at El Galeón! The room is spacious, comfortable, full of light, clean and nicely decorated. What is truly priceless though, is the gracious welcome and personal touch of the host, José Maria, who with plenty of useful, practical information and with a contagious enthusiasm, introduces you to the unmissable beauty of the territory, like the spectacular Playa de las Catedrales or a great gourmet experience in town. When we arrived at the apartment building, it felt like going back in time in a very charming way - where the apartments had bread baskets at their entrance, and the wood staircase gleamed and was smelt of flowers. The lady I spoke to most was wonderful. She helped me get the necessary passes to go to la playa de las cathedrales, and had great tips for breakfast and for visiting the beach. The apartment was spacious and impeccably clean. It was a thirty second walk to the town centre, and to a playground that the kids very much enjoyed.
