What a wonderful find , a taste of real Spain set in beautiful hills with views of mountains and river. Lovely welcome from husband and wife team who were very obliging. Spotless and beautiful rooms, and home cooked food. The dinner was delicious and served with obvious pride. Wished we could stay longer to explore the area and enjoy their hospitality further.

This is a beautifully restored country property. Lots of attention to detail and done with allot of love and respect for the building itself and in the same instance in a modern and stylish way. The location is beautiful, hidden away in the lush catalan countryside surrounded by pine forests, vineyards and bird song. If you are looking for a peaceful break away this place will tick all the boxes. Great walks for the dogs and yourself right on the doorstep. A bottle of local wine and some jamon left as a welcome gift was a lovely touch. The house also has great Internet connection and Netflix! I really can't praise this property enough I can't find a fault. Perfect stay! Thank you very much!

Location was great and the apartmento too. Full kitchen utensils and the water pressure in the shower was very good. Heater was also perfect. We dind't go in winter but the apartement is ready for winter time.

Everything about this place was great. Wonderful couple running it, they bent over backwards to help us with details about the local area and specially prepared breakfast (it was delicious). The local area is stunning, great for hikes and I strongly recommend the Via Verde cycle route starting in Horte de Sant Joan. The peace and quiet around Mas La Llum is something really special, especially if you normally live in a city or town. They have two lovely dogs that gave us a big waggy welcome before we could even get out of the car. They have a couple of books with pictures chronicling the build and the process to get where they are today and it really felt like we were staying in a Grand Designs house. Kevin McCloud would love this place.
Batea (Near Caseras)
