All the food was fantastic, both breakfast and supper. Lovingly prepared and gratefully consumed. Also the wine choice was great and very reasonably priced. My partner has gluten intolerance and this was coped with admirably and without fuss. It was the best home made GF bread she had ever tasted.

A very nice apartment in the middle of Merindades, in Burgos. Very quiet and comfortable with all the facilities needed for a long stay. Perfect for small groups. Raquel, the host, is a nature guide who also does guided trips, so ask her if you come to enjoy the region's nature, even if it's just for tips. Also, a lot of information about the nature and villages of the zone available in the apartment. The detail of leaving breakfast for us was a really nice touch for the stay. Undoubtedly one of our best stays as a group.

This hotel has lovely gardens with some aviary birds, and a pond. It was very quiet when we were there, that suits us. The room was comfortable and clean. We had an excellent evening meal and breakfast. The staff were very friendly and helpful. There is lots of parking. We walked in to the town and then along the river which was great after a long motorcycle ride to get there. A very nice place altogether.
