Fabulous apartment where we stayed for a week. Lovely and quiet but shops and restaurant nearby. Close to Ainsa. Lots of great hikes and mtb rides in the area. Could have stayed another week if we had the time!

As Fuebas de Patricio, hotel in Bestué

Boasting mountain views, As Fuebas de Patricio provides accommodation with balcony, around 39 km from Parque Nacional de Ordesa.

The owners were away from the property throughout our stay and, on first arrival, it had an odd abandoned feeling, with cafe chairs and tables scattered about outside (but no comfortable place to sit and admire the amazing views). We were however checked in and subsequently looked after for breakfasts by Vanessa, a local girl (who had to work hard to manage all the guests in the mornings). But we were disappointed, having booked here in expectation of having home cooked meals. However we were directed to Casa Lisa, in the neighbouring village of Buerba, and they provided excellent, well priced meals for us each evening. The house appeared practically new and we had a large room with a view across to the mountains. Very efficient underfloor heating kept it cosy - in fact too hot sometimes. Spacious modern shower room (no bath).

Hotel Rural El Portón de Murillo, hotel in Bestué

Located in the small town of Broto, a 5-minute walk from the Ara River, Hotel Rural El Portón de Murillo features a garden with a seasonal pool and terrace.

The room offers a stunning view of the waterfall, the town and the mountains. The small balcony is equipped with two chairs, so you can make the most of it. - The room was spacious and the bathroom offered good storage space. - The shared kitchen provides not only access to a fridge but anything else one might need. - There is plenty of free parking right outside the building. - The center of the town is just a casual 2 minute walk away. There you'll find a decent supermarket, restaurants etc. - Since we visited in autumn we didn't use the garden/pool but I'm sure it is great while staying in summer.

Casas Rurales Molinias, hotel in Bestué

Set 34 km from Dag Shang Kagyu, Casas Rurales Molinias offers accommodation with a patio, as well as an open-air bath and a garden. This property offers access to a balcony and free private parking.

We spent two nights in this magical place en route back from the South of Spain to the UK. It is very rural as the name suggests which is part of what makes it so beautiful. The accomodation was perfect for us and our dog. Interesting layout with the bedroom and bathroom downatairs and living room and kitchen area upstairs with entrances on both levels. Nice and cosy, stylish, simple, rustic and very clean. A private parking space, bbq and outside heating area. Waking up to the views of the mountains was amazing. At night you can visit the star gazing platform with a glass of local wine. The location is about 18 mins from Aínsa. You can either do walks from the property or use it as a base to explore the Pyrenees. We were greated by Nico who gave us excellent recommemdations for food and hiking. Our dog also loved it and made friends with the neighbours' dog!

The property is situated in the centre of the old town (see picture) and hence it was a two minute walk to a variety of cafes, restaurants and shops. We visited in October, out of season, but was still able to eat with no problem. Our room was on the other side to the town square and so we had a fantastic view over the mountains (see picture). The room was large, traditionally decorated, the bathroom equipped with all modern facilities. There is no restaurant on site, breakfast is served in the ground floor "cafe". The staff were charming and our lack of Spanish was no problem.
