The combination of the beautiful renovation merging traditional and modern materials (the decor is both stylish and cozy), friendly owners, comfortable accommodation (including comfy bed, bedding&towels!), and very tasty home-made food made it a stay to remember. Located in a quiet area, it is a great place to relax and unwind. They have a small restaurant which is only for the guests (5 rooms), so no unnecessary disturbances, but very convenient if one doesn’t want to go to eat out. Both the dinner and breakfast were delicious and plentiful! I will gladly return, if my path will lead me in their direction again:) Thank you, Ana and Sergi!

Superb location, excellent breakfast and friendly and attentive host.
Hotel La Alfonsina is set in Santibáñez de Villacarriedo, 24 km from Santander. Guests can enjoy the on-site bar. Free private parking is available on site. Rooms come with a flat-screen TV.

The house is in a small hamlet in the middle of the countryside - very peaceful. The hosts were very welcoming, friendly and helpful.They sent us detailed instructions with photos of how to get to the property which was excellent.
