Overall the stay was very comfortable and I had an amazing experience in Siwa. I would definitely stay there again.

Set within the scenery of the Sahara Desert in Siwa, Siwa Shali Resort offers a landscaped pool area that unravels throughout the resort, traditional Siwa houses and a hot spring bath for medication.

The rooms and suites at Siwa Shali feature a traditional Berber style. Each offers a satellite TV, a minibar and a wardrobe. Some have garden views and others have pool views.

This resort exceeded my expectations. Before I even reached the property, Yousef reached out to make sure the time of my arrival. Once I arrived, I was blown away with how beautiful and charming it is. The property is so clean and spacious. I loved how clean the rooms were and how close the restaurant was from my room. There is a very clean pool, restaurant and so much cute decor to look out. They really embody the feel of being in Siwa. The hospitality was something I cant explain, Yousef was so accommodating, warm and he made me feel like family. The resort offers tours so that took the hassle of having to find someone to take me around which was amazing on such short notice. I would come back and stay here every time! 10/10 I would recommend Siwa Shali Resort to anyone coming to Siwa Oasis. I felt completely safe as a solo female traveler, just as if I was with my family. Just be aware that they don't take credit cards so make sure to bring cash and there is also an ATM in the town.

Charming Ecolodge: The ecolodge boasts a charming ambiance with clean, well-decorated rooms, though note that one of the two bedrooms is typically occupied by the owner. Remote Location: Nestled in a tranquil local village, the ecolodge provides a peaceful retreat. However, its distance of 25 minutes from town and tourist sites may pose inconveniences. No restaurants or shops around. Home-Cooked Meals: The owner, a proficient cook, offers delectable home-cooked meals. It's worth noting that the menu's consistency varies and leans towards carbs, sugar, and fats due to the owner's vegan preferences. Under Construction: The ongoing construction indicates efforts to enhance the ecolodge, promising an improved experience in the future.

Panta Lodge was one of our favourite guest houses in Egypt. Warm welcome from a highly professional receptionist, who made sure we could check in and have breakfast right as we arrived, after a long bus ride. Big room with comfortable beds and a little terrace. Beautiful garden with lots of places to sit and enjoy our time. Unforgettable nights by the fire, with tasty tea and baked sweet potatoes. From the centre, you can reach the guesthouse by tuk-tuk, but we preferred walking every time and it was a nice way of getting to know the neighbourhood. We also got help with our trips in and around Siwa, so you can count on Panta Lodge for a full package.

A very peaceful and beautiful place. Amany is the best host - a calm, warm and helpful presence. Close enough to the main town (we walked once and it was about 20 mins) but you can get to anywhere for a cheap price in a tuk tuk. The desert safari was incredible! we opted for a private one with dinner and it did not disappoint - so much fun with incredible stars and Amany booked us the best chef in town who cooks the food under the sand. Would recommend!

Helal, his family and his staff were excellent. The breakfast was exceptional. After a day exploring, the gardens are the ideal oasis within an oasis. The water in the shower was hot and the bed was very comfortable. I joined Helal and his family for an exceptional evening meal. It is one of my fondest memories of this trip to Siwa.

Friendos house is a great get away from the city noises and perfectly located between dessert and farms. It offers a private hot spring and a family vibe. It's typical siwa style, simple and quiet. Enjoying chilled time by the fire under the stars. As a solo traveler it's great as you can have a private or shared room for a reasonable price.. Thank you

Everything was good! The staff was very friendly, the hotel was decorated prettily, with hammocks, etc., and I highly recommend it! Breakfast is very good, and there is plenty of it to fill you up! Also, at night there is a campfire and music on the speakers, which makes for a fun time! Thank you!
