Everything! The place is very nice clean and cozy! And the owner is the kindest person you could ever meet. We shared a lot of time talking and he was explaining a lot about the area, and touristic points, he also helped me with indications in Arabic in a paper. He also invited me a very tasty fruit juice.

spotlessly clean and quiet room with access to a cosy sitting room and a top balcony with a view. We felt at home here .the location is perfect 5 minutes to the temple. The island is very authentic but primitive. No cars. The host and people on the island were lovely. We paid local prices at the shops and ferry which is rare in Egypt. The host let us leave out bags there while we went overnight to abu simbel and did our laundry too. Eat at King Jamaica for great views of the nile and good food. Elephantine is so much quieter than Aswan town and a great experience

It was nice to stay in Abu Guest house. On the roof you can find a sunny terrace and some sweet kittens. The room was small, but cozy, with fan and AC. Bathroom with hot water. Abu also changed our room via our favor. The main pier of the island in 5min by feet, but near the house you also can find a small pier.

We opted for the taxi service and were met at the airport by a lovely person (sorry, I’ve forgotten all names!) who got us there while pointing out all the local sights. On arriving, what a lovely place! Artika feels absolutely serene, you have the Nile right next to you, and it’s all so quiet.
Food was absolutely delicious (with fantastic vegetarian and vegan options), and the drinks were great too. Everyone working was absolutely lovely, and so helpful and caring. Always willing to help with anything you could possibly think of or need. Blissful. They had a few really cute and friendly dogs and puppies as well, but were also always ready to move them away for someone in our group who was scared of dogs.
Rooms were really spacious and the beds are huge!
Overall, an absolute pleasure to stay here, and would love to come back again! Thank you so much for everything, to all the staff at Artika.
