We had a great time here. We were able to go out on the boat onto the water and watch the sunset, which was really lovely, and the host was really helpful in getting the sauna ready for us as well, meaning we had nothing to worry about at all.

The wooden houses, which won a design award, are practically furnished and tower over a hill with a beautiful view. The winery, a former state farm that has been renovated over many years, is also worth seeing. The friendly owner took us on a tour of the vineyards, production facilities and wine cellar. It is really exciting to see the effort and enthusiasm that goes into producing wine here, on one of the northernmost wineries. We were later able to taste the results on the balcony of our wooden house. Highly recommended.

This place is amazing and perfect for small to mid size groups. We were 11 adults, 2 toddlers and 1 infant. There were 6 proper bedrooms, 2 of them had queen/king beds with rooms for extra mattresses for the toddlers and they also had the baby travel bed at disposal - very convenient for us.
The picture don't do the house justice really. Downstairs is bigger and has higher ceilings. They also had put another dinner table so we could all eat together. There was plenty of space for everyone. Downstairs was very chill and has sort of ski-chalet vibe, nice and cozy. Upstairs on the other hand is private, quiet and very comfortable. Even if people downstairs are still up and making some noise, you can easily sleep upstairs, it feels separated, walls are thick (nor toddlers or the infant woke up, so it's tested :) ).
Amenities in the house are great too. I mean everything from what you'd need for cooking a meal yourself to a high quality coffee machine and even ice machine (nice touch). Fireplace keeps it nice and warm but isn't the only source of heat. There is an electric sauna at your disposal. Usually electric saunas or a minor hit or really a miss. This one was a major hit - it's spacious, some 5-6 people can be there at a time. It circulates heat really well, it's not too dry and performs more like old-school make-a-fire sauna. Sauna has a separate room to sit in between sessions + a large shower area. Everything was well organised.
In the same building, through a different exit, kind of winter-garden type situation there's another seating area to have dinner and glass walls (good for the Summer I imagine) and also the big hot tub sauna. Probably the most spacious one I've ever seen, I mean we were 8 people comfortably there at once, you had room to move around.
Also rented the smoke sauna that's in a separate building. Nice experience, would definitely recommend to try.
As families grow in size, so too do the needs of a family holiday. That’s why family hotels are set up to cater for all ages, from toddlers and kids to teens and adults. Typically, you can expect restaurants with kids’ menus, games rooms, fitness centres and a pool area where children can play and parents can relax.
