I stayed at Landhaus vor Burg Eltz for one night to visit Burg Eltz Castle, and the experience was wonderful. Reaching the hotel during summer was easy. I took the train to Hatzenport station and then RegioBus 365 (check the castle’s website for the bus schedule). I informed the driver of my hotel stop, and they dropped us off right outside the hotel at "Hinter der Hecke."( stop name)
The hotel allowed us to check in early, which was a great convenience. The property was clean and well-maintained, and the hosts were welcoming and friendly.
Burg Eltz Castle is about a 15-20 minute walk from the hotel, and the route is safe and pleasant. We walked towards the castle early in the morning to catch the sunrise, which was beautiful,

The location is perfect for visting Burg Eltz. The staff were so friendly and kind. We felt welcomed right away. We brought along our 1.5yr old baby. They had a baby bed prepared for us. Just fyi, they do charge 10€ for the extra bedding for the baby crib. For breakfast, the staff cooked unseasoned scrambled eggs for her and bought out plastic cutlery for her to use.
