An exciting and unique stay in an old tower gate. Little spooky, felt the kids, due to the graveyard being next to the house. The views were fantastic and we slept well. Nearby cafe served inexpensive and good breakfast. If you have large luggage and no car, this might be a challenge due to the climb of (one or two flights of) stairs. The lady running the place was absolutely amazing and made us feel at home from the beginning. Clear and timely communication in English.

Loved this place! About 15 minutes away from the hustle and bustle of Rothenburg in the fresh, clean country. Very quiet and a playground on site for the kids. We had an apartment and it had 2 sofa beds, a bedroom, and a well equipped kitchen. The restaurant food was FANTASTIC for both dinner and breakfast and most charmingly, the owner’s 6-year old grandson helps out as waiter (and does a fine job! Like seriously, wow!) The owner’s daughter speaks excellent English. Highly recommend!!
