The service and staff was good and friendly. Facilities were nice too.
This non-smoking hotel lies in a national park on the East Frisian island of Borkum, close to the island's airfield and about 1.6 km from the North Sea coast.
On the East Frisian island of Borkum, this hotel is just a 5-minute walk from the North Sea beaches. The resort's spa facilities, railway station, and town centre are also nearby.
Built in 1895, this hotel in the North Sea resort of Borkum offers peaceful accommodation in the town’s pedestrianised area, just 250 metres away from the beach promenade.

overall good breakfast, friendly staff , good location
As families grow in size, so too do the needs of a family holiday. That’s why family hotels are set up to cater for all ages, from toddlers and kids to teens and adults. Typically, you can expect restaurants with kids’ menus, games rooms, fitness centres and a pool area where children can play and parents can relax.
Nice family hotel, extremely well kept, spotlessly clean, good decoration (although in the "traditional" style), warm welcome from the reception and the staff in general, despite the language bareer, lift, large and confortable room, very good breakfast, just in front of the train station so very convenient with the luggage, 2 minutes away from the beach, all facilities around from bike rental to food options, etc - anyway, Borkum is small.
Small-scale family hotel with friendliness and generosity at its core. Everything provided was of the best quality within a sympathetically modernized traditional island barn. The setting and location is beautiful -- perhaps the closest accommodation to one of the most natural North Sea beaches.
