Great place to be in Ponta do Sol! It'is such a nice and helpful owner! He answered all my emails and questions, can give you advice on everything.  I arrived very early in the morning, could change breakfast easily and even got an extra snack for the ferry next fay! He also helped me with the bus to the ferry in the morning. The whole family really cares about their guests! Rooms are nice and clean, beds are  comfortable, location is very central. Just perfect! The room - spacious, modern, and comfortable. The location - in the heart of Ponta do Sol and close to the beginning of the trek to Cruzinha. The staff - The ladies on staff were very nice and helpful; David the manager was a gracious and accommodating host. He went out of his way to call 4 separate restaurants for me to ask if they had food after I came out of a work stupor at 3pm realizing I was starving! The breakfast - a variety of choices to fill you up prior to your hike.
