Wow! My boyfriend and I loved our stay here! Everything was thought of at the resort. From the little details in the room, to the numerous hammocks, sitting areas, activities on property, I was able to do yoga every morning and my boyfriend loved that he could rent a surfboard on property and surf right out front. Also, the resturant on property was delisous for lunch and dinner. We will be back very soon!

This was a lovely stay at the end of our Costa Rica trip. The staff and management were very friendly and helpful, the hotel was clean and very comfortable. Great beach very close by, lots of wildlife to see. Around the hotel pool we saw a resident Iguana, racoon and heron , all seemed quite tame.. The restaurant upstairs in the evening was probably the best food we had whilst in Costa Rica ! I would recommend the Peruvian Cerviche and the beef tenderloin . Nice end to the holiday.

Great service, facilities and food. This hotel should have one more star. The room I stood at was brand new. The food is gourmet prepared by a chef. The price is cheap, it seems they are recovering from a pandemic year and want to revamp their business with new clients, and have also hired new staff and management. They gave us a great welcome with courtesy drinks. The beach is in front of the hotel, it is a very long pristine beach with soft sand like Cancun but just brown color.

Our visit in Marala hotel for a vacation time was exceptional. Definitely, one of the best hotels we have ever visited around the world! We enjoyed every second of our stay, incredible service, food and cocktails, super friendly and helpful staff (greetings to Adriana - one of our servers, she was so sweet and nice to us and all the servers and helpers team was super professional!). Room was perfectly spacious, clean and taken care of every day, pool view and hotel location is beyond great! A big thank you for your hospitality and see you soon again! <3

Here's a list of the great things about this house: -The owner is exceptional! He communicated with us 2 weeks before our arrival and answered all our questions. This was our first trip to CR, and he gave us so many great tips. He gave us recommendations for where to stop for lunch along the road to the property from San Jose to where to shop for groceries. He was also very flexible in coordinating payment. -Gilberto is the property manager and he was extremely attentive. He met us at the house within a minute of our arrival and he was always available any time we needed anything. In fact, we needed an extra blanket for one of the beds and Gilberto showed up with a new comforter within an hour. We have had room service at hotels take longer! We felt like with Gilberto, we had a concierge. -The house is set back from the main road and very private. It has tall hedges that surround it and a gated driveway for added security. At night, the porch has retractable doors that can be closed. CR is safe, but we appreciated the sense of safety of being in a house that had added security features. -The town of Parrita has everything that you need, but it is not touristy. It has multiple grocery stores and convenience markets, and it is halfway between Quepos and Jaco. Plus the Playa Bandera is only a five minute drive from the house and it is a gorgeous and almost deserted beach. If you want just a beach vacation, you can stay at Hotel Villa Elenita and never leave the town of Parrita. -The kitchen appliances are new and top notch. Everything was clean and operated without any problems. -The bathroom is huge, clean, has great hot water, and the water pressure is good. -The bedrooms are big with plenty of storage space, and the beds and pillows are amazing. Everyone in our family slept like babies at Hotel Villa Elenita. We felt like the beds at this vacation house were more comfortable than ours back home!
