The view is unique and priceless. The complex is small and informal and the hosts are extremely welcoming and always on hand with help and advice. Sid prepares delicious breakfast dishes. The bungalows are well equipped and are spaced far enough apart to give you plenty of privacy. One comment: It would be great if the mosquito nets were completely renewed, as there is a lot going on inside in the evenings. We would definitely come again.

Very basic room with a fan but it did the job for one night. The fan was good and we didn’t need air con. It’s got a kind of hostel vibe so I’m glad we only had one night as it’s not our style of accom, but the room was clean and the staff friendly and helpful. Great location, just a short walk to the centre.

There was a super nice guy at reception. If I remember correctly his name was Rodrigo. He baked bread and shared it with us. The big open kitchen is a good area to hang out and meet other travellers. We saw a sloth in the tree in the morning. Location is great, 5min walk to the beach and restaurants.

This house is much much cooler than it looks on the pictures. Everything is insane there. And the vibes. Just wow 10/10. Just make sure youve got a 4x4 car as the road to reach it is super steep.

Beautiful place, super clean and spacious, comfortable beds, friendly staff, near the beach. I would definitelly come back if ever I am back in Costa Rica. Highly recommend
As families grow in size, so too do the needs of a family holiday. That’s why family hotels are set up to cater for all ages, from toddlers and kids to teens and adults. Typically, you can expect restaurants with kids’ menus, games rooms, fitness centres and a pool area where children can play and parents can relax.
The staff is very nice. The grounds are beautiful. I love how family friendly it is yet peaceful environment at the same time. The pools are pretty and well maintained. The restaurant was good (not exceptional). The alcohol drinks were good - especially the owners favorite margarita. The complimentary breakfast was delicious. We also enjoyed the pool table.
I was working while my family enjoyed the hotel. It was convenient to have a restaurant on site and 2 pools. I was disappointed that the playground was removed though.
A truly magical place. Surrounded by beautiful gardens, birds and flowers. Room was comfortable and spacious for our family of four. The boys loved the hammock and the swimming pool.
Next to a gorgeous river the boys played in and close to the town.
The family, especially Rylan we’re very friendly and helpful.
Lovely hosts. Garden is beautiful, especially the fragrant flowers, but perhaps could be trimmed back for a little more light and less mosquito habitat. A short walk to the beach was nice. Nice hang out area with ceiling fans to keep mosquitos away. Fun hammocks but quite a few mosquitos around them.
The room was fine but the best part was outside of it. Beautiful hotel garden, very entertaining for families with young kids (pool, minigolf, pool table, foosball table, easy forest trail for hiking, bathing in the river close by, loads of animals to see. Staff was super friendly and helpful - food in the restaurant really good.
Amy is an incredible host.
Property is quiet with a beautiful garden, cute animal friends, family vibes, and steps away from the beach.
She gave us all the info on fun activities to do around the area, and was very available and easy to communicate with, even during Christmas.
Simple clean rooms, and a functional little kitchen with free coffee!
I LOVED the Hona Beach Hotel! My family and I spent only one night there but wish we chose this location for the rest of our stay! It was so much cleaner than I expected being so close to the beach and far enough away from the fun that it wasn’t loud early enough to get to bed in quiet. I loved our stay at Hona Beach.
