First of all: Nicest host you could imagine, with excellent recommendations who really goes out of her way to make you feel at home and enjoy your stay! Great attention without being pushy. All the other staff members were lovely too!
The hotel is a calm oasis in the middle of nature, but just far away from the loud and bustling town to get everywhere easily by foot, bicycle or tuktuk.
The rooms are spotless and spacious, the attached kitchens are equipped with everything you could wish for, the AC works perfectly fine and the pool area is well maintained.
The rooms have cosy balconies/verandas that give you privacy and everywhere there's lots of small stylish details showing the big love that is put in that place.
I stayed 1 week with my wife and 3 kids in a double room with an extra bed, which was more than spacious enough, also because of the huge common area and outside kitchen just in front of the two rooms where we all could come together to cook, eat or hang out.
After I brought my family to the airport I came back for another week 😂

Fantastic to be in the middle of the trees. The staff were so friendly & we loved hearing & seeing the frogs & other wildlife, including a sloth in a tree above the pool one morning.

Everything from beginning to end was extremely smooth and better than I could have imagined. Jane was an amazing and caring host; from the time I made the booking she made sure I had as much information as possible about the place and also things to do around the area. She overdid herself by sharing her recommendations on places to eat and beaches to visit. The house was also amazing and extremely comfortable for our family of 6 including our small dog. The whole family enjoyed cooking, sleeping, taking showers and plunging in the pool. I recommend it and can't wait to be back! 😍

The location is perfect, the apartment is located 2km away from Puerto Viejo. It is surrounded by forest and only a few villas are on the property which makes it a relaxing place ideally for families and solo travellers. The pool was nice and the distribution of the apartment was convenient.
The location, out of the main busy town, opposite punta uva. The wildlife was amazing. The property is charming, the detail in everything, the craftsmanship, a very serene environment that oozes peace and love. Everything you need is provided, lovely functional kitchen, plenty of hanging out places to soak in the beauty
This cabin was super cute, comfortable and well-equipped! We loved our visit here and were treated like royalty from all the staff on the farm! There is lots of wildlife in the area and gorgeous flora and fauna!
The owner Theresa, went above and beyond to help make our stay and our visits to the beach and the area super fun and comfortable! A highlight was visiting the AP agricultural bee rescue center which is just down the road!
Feels very secluded, but very close to the supermarket and several beaches. We rented bikes and getting to town took only 15 minutes, which was great exercise and nice to get a feel for the place. Comfy bed, great deck, functional kitchen.
Our family of 4 loved staying at Up! House. Set amongst the vegetation yet close to beaches and shops it was a wonderful place to come back to after exploring the area. As soon as we arrived we saw iguanas, monkeys, leaf cutter ants, a sloth and agoutis. The property management were so kind, and answered all our questions about nearby amenities. The property is also secure with a high fence around the perimeter. i recommend Up! House!
