This is an amazing property up in the mountains a few kilometres from Minca. You will need to get a driver with a 4x4 to take you the few km’s as it is a very rough and bumpy road. It is well worth it though, as the property has amazing views, hiking trails, a restaurant with great food (which we struggled with for a lot of our trip in Colombia) and it is very close to the Marinka Waterfalls.

We had to report this to booking as a fraudulent scam and also have reported it to our bank. We will also be reporting them to the Consumer Protection authority of Colombia, and potentially escalate further with legal proceedings. We are actually appalled that we showed them our bank statements showing the 3 different transactions and recent card transactions and they refused to believe us. They tried to gaslight us into saying there were only 2 transactions and that we were refunded when you can clearly see from the statements that it is not the case. We have never been treated like this before and look forward to receiving the refund from our bank and compensation from booking for the defamation. It was not worth the trip and paying 200,000-230,000 each way to get there from Santa Marta. Views were stunning but it was soured, we are very upset.

The location of the property is really beautiful- high up in the mountains with incredible views. The host (Pilar) and the rest of the staff went out of their way to ensure we had a good time. The dinners were fantastic and Pilar's music choices were ideal.

The staff were so lovely and helpful - breakfast was delicious. The building/room designs were really interesting and aesthetically pleasing - kind of art nouveau with a cheeky art deco sunburst here and there. The locations is amazing and so relaxing. We loved the contrast of being up in the peaceful jungle but then being able to look down on the beautiful sparkling lights of Santa Marta, only 45mins away in the called below was really special.

This place is really nice. Very peaceful and relaxing. Just what we were looking for. The surroundings are even more beautiful and decorated with great taste. There are two views - one from the breakfast area (where you can enjoy delicious fruits and eggs in the morning) to the mountains and one from the chill out area (where you can also order drinks and snacks) to the coast to Santa Marta. Stunning. The owner was super friendly and we loved the cats and dogs there too. Highly recommended. This place is a treasure.
