Stunning property in the middle of the jungle, everything is well kept and all the details taken care of, the staff is kind and super helpful always looking for you to have the best possible experience, the room was clean, organised and better than the pictures. Food and drinks where also amazing and lot’s of plans to do. Unfortunately we book a very short time for such paradise. Excellent value for money

Kind staff, great value, amazing pool, right at the beach, good and sufficient amenities. Would recommend booking the 10 bed jungle room rather than the one with 8 beds. A place for a peaceful stay but there are several other hostels in walking distance that you can go to for a party. Still, easy to meet other travelers!

We had an absolutely brilliant stay at Villa Solea, spending 5 nights and having one of the best experiences among hotels with a beautiful atmosphere. Firstly, the pictures don't fully capture the impression; it's much more spectacular in fact. The property is newly renovated with quality materials and good design taste. Fully private and well-equipped villas include clean towels, robes, bathroom kits, AC, and more. Our villa featured a huge bedroom, a beautiful terrace, a bathroom, and a view of the garden and pool. We could hear the ocean and enjoy the pool, as the villa is directly on the beach, allowing for a 2-minute walk to a white sandy beach. Despite the ocean's large waves, it wasn't a concern for us. The hotel's atmosphere was pure joy – quiet, cozy, and luxurious. We felt at home with the personal touch from our host, Alicia, who is an amazing person always ready to help. The entire staff was extremely kind and friendly, even though we couldn't speak Spanish; we could feel their care for us. The food is simply delicious, and we later had the pleasure of personally meeting the chef and expressing our gratitude.

We arrived here tired and weary after the 4 day hike in la Ciudad Perdida and we really needed a rest. We chose this hotel because it is a few mns walk away from where the Ciudad Perdida tour jeeps turn off into the hills, so we were dropped off by car on our way out without needing to go to Santa Marta. We could not have chosen a better place: I have stayed in hotels all around the world and Senderos del Mar is one of my favourite. For a start, the rooms are clean and functional, with AC and warm water. The swimming pool is nice, the hotel is very safe and near a beautiful beach. In the restaurant, I did not expect the food to be as good as it was, but it was really top quality - in terms of fresh products, presentation and quantity! (I say this as someone from France). There are also vegetarian options and the chocolate "volcano" from the Sierra Nevada is to die for! In spite of all of these qualities, what makes the hotel special in my eyes is the staff: I have never seen such friendly, kind and helpful staff in my life. The security guy, Freddy, decided to help us by cleaning our dirty walking boots - and when I say clean, I mean clean - he even scrubbed our shoe laces! The hotel also did our laundry, and massages and horse riding activities were available as well. The receptionists, the waiters in the restaurant, and Luis the manager all provided exceptional care and we thank them for it.

It's an amazing tranquil spot in between more lively hostels. Not for partygoers but for people who want to chill on the beach and/or maybe visit the neighboring hostels for a drink, but want to have their rest and peace after it. The owners as well as the personnel were extremely nice and helpful. Highly recommended!
