The hotel exceeded our expectations in every aspect. It is such a relaxing place set in extremely beautiful surroundings. The bungalows are spacious and beautiful with the best bed we've had on our trip. The staff is incredibly friendly and the app is really helpful for information on trips etc.. The restaurant service is fast, the fish dishes are superb and there is free coffee all day. If you have time, get a massage. Mine was excellent and the setting of the spa in a pavillon above the river is wonderful. We can also really recommend the cocoa tour offered by a nearby finca.

Magic and green. The property was beautiful inside and out. We enjoyed a warm welcome and got great advice about how to best enjoy our time in the park. After our hike to the beach we had a superb meal and a fun evening playing cards in the communal area. Such a special place. Thank you! Las cuatro chicas!

The owner and everyone else working there was so friendly and accommodating. They let us leave our bags when we went to Tayrona and shower afterwards. The pool is really big and the grounds are very well maintained. Air con works super well and snacks and drinks are really affordable. Breakfast is also lovely, Would definitely recommend.

The staff was amazing (they were also super nice to each other - great teamwork), super friendly and helpful. Beautiful garden, nice pool area and very quiet (like no loud music playing). Family friendly (we don’t have kids but there were a lot of families). We also used the laundry service and the parking lot - everything perfect. The restaurant and breakfast were good.

Amazing stay at Zakua! Juan, André and their family were great hosts. Collected us and dropped us off in Santa Marta and Tayrona park. Near to the enchanted lagoon, Juan took us on a tour to the lagoon which I would 100% recommend. Had so much fun and the tent was comfy and had a TV and air con. The pool is great to cool off in too! Thanks again for our lovely stay

It's in the jungle so we didn't expect 4 star, but there were lots of little things that would have made it much nicer, some curtains across the open back and front of our room for example! Whatever, it was good fun, the staff were very friendly and the baby monkeys that came to check us out were a treat.

The location is absolutely spectacular. The 20min walk into the jungle crossing rivers is really fun and not too hard, with the goal to arrive to beautiful Ofelia. Javier welcomed us as part of his family and we had incredible 6 nights there. Would recommend as a 10/10 experience. We even saw tucans one of our last evenings! As well as monkeys nearby. What we enjoyed the most was having dinner and breakfast together as well as with the other guests. Was very hard to leave but we will come back :)

When we found this place on booking we were a bit sceptical because of the lack of reviews, but we were pleasantly impressed with just how fantastic it was!! The sweetest family you will ever meet on a beautiful quaint little farm up in the jungle. There are baby animals running around, a fully equipped kitchen, the bathroom was spacious and clean, hammocks to lay and read in, Ruth makes a fantastic breakfast, and the walk from the main road is only about 10 minutes. It felt like a little oasis away from the madness of the world.
