It was a very nice hotel except for the rather strange and unpleasant smell of methane or sewage gas in the stairwell and halls. I didn’t smell it at all in the room or breakfast/restaurant area, which is also peculiar. The staff were exceptionally helpful and kind.

Location excellent, in the middle of the old part of the town - The hotel is dog friendly with no additionnal charges, they themselve have a dog which is often at the reception. Excellent buffet breakfast with a selection of cheese, cold meats, boiled egg, cereals, juices, selection of fresh bread, croissant and roles, they provided some gluten free bread at request, teas and coffes included as well in the breakfast.
