I was pleasantly surprised by the beauty of the surroundings. The weather turned out well and there were picturesque walks to go on. On the Saturday teatime there was an excellent concert of live music with mixed media performed by a famous Italian singer-song writer, compliments of the house for hotel guests. Extraordinary value for money, and easily accessible by an hourly bus service from Luzern.

Nice place at the countryside. Good starting pont for hiking. And the restaurant (inside) is on the same level as a Michelin star restaurant. Just perfect.

The room was basic but clean. It was a last minute booking so the shared bathroom didn’t suit me. The breakfast was excellent

The small town and the hotel exceeded my expectations. The hotel is popular with locals and dinner in the restaurant was excellent. The owners Patricia and Soren and their staff are very welcoming. The location of the town is very good with raill & bus links to almost anywhere. Swiss rail lived up fully to its reputation. A Cable car is situated 200m from hotel and reaches the 1900m at the top of Stanserhorn in minutes. Recommend purchasing a "Tell Pass"
As families grow in size, so too do the needs of a family holiday. That’s why family hotels are set up to cater for all ages, from toddlers and kids to teens and adults. Typically, you can expect restaurants with kids’ menus, games rooms, fitness centres and a pool area where children can play and parents can relax.
Margaret was very kind and upon request cooked us dinner which was lovely after a long day in the car. The family room was spacious with a separate room for the children. The kids could play on the trampoline and run around. Ideal for a one night stop.
