The weather was bad, so it was difficult to see the location, but what we did see looked amazing. We would like to return. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom excellent. The owners were very kind and offered information about the area and suggested places for dinner as the restaurant is closed on Wednesdays. They even arranged for us to visit a local winery, which was strictly still closed. Breakfast was very good in a good atmosphere as locals came in for their morning coffee. Melanie and Marcello were very good hosts.

The Hotel Palafitte offers you individual luxury pavilions with breathtaking views of Lake Neuchâtel and the Alps, half of which are built on piles directly in the lake.
As families grow in size, so too do the needs of a family holiday. That’s why family hotels are set up to cater for all ages, from toddlers and kids to teens and adults. Typically, you can expect restaurants with kids’ menus, games rooms, fitness centres and a pool area where children can play and parents can relax.
This hotel had just opened the same week we stayed. The staff were extremely friendly, and the entire hotel smelled new and was very clean. The beds were incredibly comfy. They also have a garage for parking. Despite being right next to the train station, it’s very quiet inside. It’s a great option compared to hotels in the city and by the lake, offering a quick drive to the city and affordable parking. We would definitely stay here again.
