This hotel really was exceptional. It was modern and very well maintained. The room was fabulous. There didn't appear to be air conditioning, but the suite was spacious with Dyson fans which made it a very comfortable environment.
The staff were all very friendly and extremely helpful. A real 'can do' attitude as we had some issues with the parking but they solved it with no fuss.
The hotel was convenient for the old town, but just out of the way so it was relatively quiet with easy access from the motorway.
It was very convenient having the parking on-site.

Everything! This is one of the best hotels I’ve stayed in. Beautifully designed with a real modern flair that stands it apart from the run of the mill corporate feel of so many hotels. Spotlessly clean and the attention to detail is outstanding. From lovely glass tumblers in the room as opposed to the ubiquitous plastic water bottle, to the drinks station on each floor where you can help yourself to tea, coffee, fruits and on tap sparkling or still water which you can decant into a glass carafe and take into your room. The breakfast choice is wide and delicious. Recommend the scrambled eggs which are so easy to get wrong in a hotel- superb! The staff are polite, welcoming and efficient. The hotel also provides a free travel card for use on all public transport in Basel during your stay. All in all, a must stay hotel.

It was a lovely state at the B&B Pappelweg. The hostess was lovely, kind, and very helpful. The room was clean and tidy, with a nice view at the door. The breakfast room lovely, with a view to the garden. The bed was super comfortable. The breakfast was very tasty, with great quality products. Everything was very clean. The location was perfect for me, as I had to be in Muttenz and I could walk within 20 minutes or take the bus. Perfect price value.
