Extremely nice and friendly staff, surprisingly great food in a hotel restaurant (the venue is located in a small village), outside terrace and softest mattress possible (if you love them soft you will be on cloud 9). It´s people that make or break your hotel experience, not furniture - so even kind of humbly appearing venue at a first sight can make your stay worth of ***** ritzy experience. And the people in this hotel are amazing and you do feel welcome and appreciated. If I have an opportunity in future to come to this Swiss region again I will definitely pick Auberge Communale à l'Union again, without hesitation!

Great view, the staff were very friendly and accommodating (we arrived a little late). It's not the newest hotel, but it was very clean and charming with a lot of effort put into nice decoration.
