There is an antique quirkiness about the place: you are encouraged to wear wool slippers that they provide, urinals and faucets are new but old school (you need to turn handles not just lift). Close to many hiking trails and you can explore the Rigi area if based here.

If you are looking for a nice old Swiss chalet at the end of a winding road with an exceptional view, this is the place to go! What was really nice also is that a small trail from the chalet gets you to the trail system to go up to Rigi, no need to take the car.

The place is amazing! The view from the terrace is stunning on all the of Luzern river and perfect for relaxing with a glass of wine after exploring the area. You can also enjoy a lovely breakfast with the beautiful morning view. The apartment has everything you need and is very peaceful and quiet. The hosts are fantastic, and their dog is adorable! They gave us great recommendations for places to visit nearby. Overall, it was a wonderful experience and I hope I will come back one day again!
