The small town and the hotel exceeded my expectations. The hotel is popular with locals and dinner in the restaurant was excellent. The owners Patricia and Soren and their staff are very welcoming. The location of the town is very good with raill & bus links to almost anywhere. Swiss rail lived up fully to its reputation. A Cable car is situated 200m from hotel and reaches the 1900m at the top of Stanserhorn in minutes. Recommend purchasing a "Tell Pass"

The manager and his wife were wonderful! We ended up eating every mean overlooking the beautiful Lake Lucerne. We got to know the waiters and they were so kind. It is an amazing hotel with an unforgettable vibe. Everything around is so beautiful: mountains, lawns, the lake, even buildings look great.
The spa is spacious, well equipped, with different rooms and pools, including outside pool with a hot water.
There are a bunch of restaurants and bars on the side with delicious dishes and drinks.
We had a hike every day and the trails were spectacular.
As families grow in size, so too do the needs of a family holiday. That’s why family hotels are set up to cater for all ages, from toddlers and kids to teens and adults. Typically, you can expect restaurants with kids’ menus, games rooms, fitness centres and a pool area where children can play and parents can relax.
The location is absolutely breathtaking.
The host is very helpful and kind and even lent us a buggy to take our son to town. She also gave us tips on where to go eat in town and it didn't disappoint.
The restaurant on site makes good food and makes it possible to travel with small children. We got our breakfast to take away because we left early.
Our dog was also welcome.
We were also able to borrow paddle boards which allowed us to have a great family stop.
Family owners are extremely pleasant and accommodating, which made our stay that much better. Location on the lake is beautiful. Rooms well appointed. Onsite restaurant serving fish from the lake is delicious.
The hotel is located on the lake and has wonderful view. It is a small family run hotel. It is perfect for guests who like hiking and walking in nature. The road to arrive to the hotel is very narrow and difficult to do it with a big car, like a SUV. Breakfast was very good with homemade and local products.
