This hotel located very close to train station(3 minutes) and sport hall(7 minutes walk). We came here for competition so it was perfect location. Check in was fast and friendly. Rooms are simple but nice. Comfortable bed, I like that the socket for charging your phone is located next to the bed. Hotel is very clean, wifi worked good. Breakfast was tasty, even coffee. Pleasant bonus, there is coffee machine on each floor and also mineral water and apples. So you can drink coffee or tea any time and no need to buy water.

Prophetengut really is a gem, spacious and tastefully renovated - we really appreciated all the "little things" that made our stay so positive and enjoyable, particularly on arrival after a long day of travel (coffee, fresh and perfectly ripe fruit, colouring and crafting for toddlers) as well as a friendly and personal welcome. The apartment is spacious, very clean, wifi works perfect, and the kitchen well equipped with enough cutleries for short stays. 5 min walk from Turgi train and Bus station, connecting to Zurich, Basel or the local areas. Bakery and small grocery shop in 3 minus walk. Riverside and very quiet residential area. The owner was kindly waiting for me when I arrived late for the checkin. As with any small towns in Switzerland, most shops close at 7 or 8pm sharp including kebab shop and kiosk. But then they are open from 6-7am anyway so cannot fault much really.
