For guests with children, the bed and breakfast offers an indoor play area and outdoor play equipment. A private beach area is available on-site and both skiing and canoeing can be enjoyed within close proximity of Le gîte du Lac à la Tortue.

It was a really nice place to stay and super quiet natural surroundings. There are a few other rooms that can be rented and all share the kitchen and living space. Ours was on the main level with a door that opens right to the living space couches. Luckily for the two night we rented we were the only ones in the entire facility. Kind of incredible really. But note that maybe during the busier season this room would probably have most noise and the bathroom is not connected to the room. It’s across the hall. The hot tub was quite nice for sunset on the lake even if there were no instructions on how to adjust the heat or whatnot. It managed fine for the one time use. The kitchen was spacious and great. There was a super sweet cat that greeted us in the morning on the lovely terrace.

Great location near the National Park. The owner did a great job communicating. The quality of everything in the property was what one would expect at their home but not for a rental. It exceeded our expectations.
