Private parking space big enough for our van. Our 2 dogs were welcome, extra 5 euro per pet. Comfortable bed and chairs, good WiFi, very clean and put much attention to all details. There is a microwave and an electric pan to cook breakfast or diner.

Absolutely brilliant historic place with an incredible refinement level from this building that used to be "for officials only" in times when the buzludzha monument was in use. I was in the area to visit the Buzludzha Monument, and this hotel is right at the top of Shipka Pass, which means it was right at the start of one of the two roads up to the monument. I was there between seasons, and the proprietor basically opened up just for me, had a nice room waiting with a heater, and made me a lovely bowl of soup. Looks like this place would be super fun during trekking season, with a bar restaurant and game room, huge wood burning stove and pool table. Great off the beaten track experience, would stay here again in a heartbeat.
