The location was quiet and very beautiful but easy to drive to the nearest town for food and activities (they had lots of live music events on, and a fair). The room was well laid out and the bed was comfortable. The best thing was the amazing breakfast - it was both massive (more than I was expecting even though it does state "generous breakfast") and delicious. Their homemade elderflower jam was a big hit with our family and we even bought a couple jars to take home. There is also a dog run (fenced and enclosed) to let the dog run around. Really enjoyed our stay, looking forward to coming back!

Everything was lovely! The hotel is well situated for exploring the city but also overlooking the canal. Room was attractive, had chairs by the window for relaxing and breakfast tasty. All the staff were pleasant and helpful. Would highly recommend staying here

We loved the location in a quiet area of Bruges. The room was very comfortable and spotlessly clean. Breakfast was beautifully prepared, fresh and plentiful.
As families grow in size, so too do the needs of a family holiday. That’s why family hotels are set up to cater for all ages, from toddlers and kids to teens and adults. Typically, you can expect restaurants with kids’ menus, games rooms, fitness centres and a pool area where children can play and parents can relax.
It was a great stay. Efficient check in. Friendly staff. Nice room. Good breakfast, buffet style 7.30-9.30. Location was very suited to visiting Bruges (10 minute drive or a bus 5 minutes walk). Room was clean. We are a family of 5 with children under 10 and found it ideal. It felt well run and organized. We would stay again if in the area. Nice common room area with table football. Quiet time after 22.00. Right on the canal. The kids enjoyed watching the bridge go up for the boats.
Peaceful location in the countryside along a canal, nearby to the highway.
Simple, no decoration but functional, like a budget motel. All room are at ground-floor (no stair or lift needed) and accessible to PRM (spatious corridor, spatious private bathroom).
Alternative food options are offered on request for breakfast to people intolerant to gluten (special bread) or lactose (soja milk).
This is youth hostel open to public (made me feel young at 47) and it's functional rather than beautiful. Having said that, I loved the simplicity of the building, the bare dements on the wall, and the bedding being handed to you to put them on yourself. It was a wonderfyl place and great surprise,. The view is a bonus: you have the river next to you and can enjoy the morning quiet.
