Amazing location. Last minute booking, no refund, with a host that is not in the business. Place was not ready, I had to kill time, 1hr, so he could get it ready. Information during booking said everything included, but in fine printing, insanely confusing, extra charges and hidden fees for everything. Host was sleeping when I arrived and had to rush to get it “clean”. I am not mad but will never get back to this place. Host never had a clue I had that I booked, though he is registered with booking.com since 2016 and told me he do not like last minute bookings, complaining about them. A Mexican telenovela guys, avoid!

"My house is your house, act like being home" summarises our stay. Warm hospitality, no effort is asked too much, free use of kitchen (even what is inside the fridge) and all common spaces. Simple but extensive breakfast, served by the castle owner himself with an eye of attention to use local products. Value for money, even beyond.
As families grow in size, so too do the needs of a family holiday. That’s why family hotels are set up to cater for all ages, from toddlers and kids to teens and adults. Typically, you can expect restaurants with kids’ menus, games rooms, fitness centres and a pool area where children can play and parents can relax.
The location itself was charming and full of character. The host made it exceptionally special. It felt more like staying with a family member or friend then like a B&B. The host is friendly, kind and entertaining but above all.... an AMAZING chef. His food will stay with me for years to come.
Staying here was the antithesis to a corporate hotel. It was quirky in a good way, a bit worn round the edges, but an authentic family home and garden. The front door was never locked, and the small village of Beausevigne Vieille very unspoilt and quiet. A car was essential for exploring the Ardennes. The charismatic patron was an excellent cook and the food delicious on both evenings we stayed, enabling us to stay in and eat. We had aperitifs in front of the log burner in the Den and a buffet breakfast to a background of opera.
The location of the place was great.
The greenery, the chicken coops, the look of the house from outside was very good.
Beautiful garden with hut and treehouse like structure. Lots of space for kids to play.
Swimming pool not functional now but will be in future
