It's a family owned B&B. The owners are lovely but when it comes to speaking english it's best to talk with the daughter & son.
The former farm house is beautiful, extremely clean and the owners are extremely attentionate regarding the travelers' needs and the breakfast (which was fantastic).
The place is very quiet and you can see the farm animals in the field next to the house.
Cleythil is located outside Maldegem, a 20-minute drive from historic Bruges and 30 minutes' drive from Ghent and the North Sea beach. The garden offers views of the Drongengoed forests and fields.

The room was very spacious for a family and very clean. Beds were comfy, and it had everything we needed for our stay.
The staff were friendly and welcoming.
There is a small selection of meals available for room service, which is perfect if you are tired after a long day sightseeing.
The location is lovely. Away from all the hustle and bustle. We found it to be calm and relaxing.
Breakfast was exceptional. So much choice, and all beautifully laid out.
There is a car charger onsite, which is useful for ev owners like ourselves.
We really enjoyed our stay here and have already booked again for next year.

This is one of those places you will always remember and hope to return to, the service was wonderful, so attentive, personal and caring, from warm smiles to heart shaped pancakes. Clean, comfortable, cozy, beautiful interiors and views, everything you want in a holiday property.
As families grow in size, so too do the needs of a family holiday. That’s why family hotels are set up to cater for all ages, from toddlers and kids to teens and adults. Typically, you can expect restaurants with kids’ menus, games rooms, fitness centres and a pool area where children can play and parents can relax.
We had an absolutely amazing holiday at this property. The kids absolutely loved the pool! it was lovely coming back after a busy day and the kids could have a play in the swimming pool. I will add that the pool is one level and there's no shallow end so if you have non swimmers just something to bare in mind. Location was fantastic so much to do in the area. My daughter loved seeing the horses in the stables in the morning they were the friendliest horses we have come across.
The house was beyond our expectations. It was very well organised, clean and close to Beernem and Brugge. There are a lot of toys for children. Also the coffee was very delicious. But there was one more thing that made our stay much better. The owner of the house, Mrs Bea, is a very kind, friendly and helpful person. We stayed 5 persons and toddler, so we highly recommend the house!
Really nice Architect designed family house from the 70's, with lots original features like beamed ceilings and wooden staircases.
The host / owner was extreemly welcoming and helpful and the rooms excellent with very comfortable beds.
Great breakfast served at the table with no scramble for buffet. All in all we enjoyed it very much and will return when we pass this way again.
Host is friendly and hardworking. A clean and warm space. Amazing place for kids. Fully equipped kitchen. Beautiful and nice place to walk. (I don't write reviews, but I'm writing as soon as I get home)
