I loved it because it is colourful, quirky and very, very friendly. As a solo traveller most of the time (yay retirement), feeling safe, comfortable and looked after is number one for me. Junction Motel met the criteria. Plus, it has personality. There is so much to look at, from lovely artworks to shop dummies to an abundance of succulents. This is not a boring, sterile come and go motel. This is a stop and linger and relax whilst having fun.

Graham was amazing. So friendly. Made sure we had everything we needed on arrival. Family room was lovely and warm on arrival. Took some of our children to the wildlife feed at dusk. Was so nice to go back to basics with the kids for true family time.

We enjoyed a lovely stay at Base Camp, we stayed for a couple of nights with our two small children, loved watching all the wallabies being fed at dusk (wildlife carer). We were able to visit the nearby salmon ponds, Mount field and Bonorong wildlife park with ease. Highly recommended!
