House was spacious but very cosy, with multiple heaters and wood burner, kitchen had necessary utensils, beds were large and comfortable (note third bedroom has a king single bed).
Owner/manager was easy to deal with re key collection and to get hold of some more linen.

I'm so happy to have found this lil loft just in time for mums birthday. From the moment we walked in, we were amazed. Mum said it was like we went to France! From the antique decor piece to the lovely soft linen used throughout the house ,it was all so beautiful 😍 we didnt want to leave! We will definitely be back for another visit soon

Amazing hotel! From the friendly staff to the incredible decors and style throughout the building, to walking around the grounds, everything was perfect. The room we stayed in (loft) was a great size and the bed was very comfortable.
We had dinner at the Virgin Kitchen and wow….the food was delicious. The wait staff were fantastic and huge compliments to the chef!

The location was perfect, and we loved the seclusion. The outdoor bath was great fun, the bed was the most comfy I've slept in for a long time and the bedding was divine!
Everything. Particularly the green surroundings which you can see from every room in the house. Our children called it a “treehouse”. :) The living room on the 1st floor is amazing. The 2 spas ate extra luxury. Beds were also very comfortable. Easy checkin. Great proactive communication by host.
The property was extremely clean and had everything you could possibly need. There were games for night time fun and a balcony to have an afternoon drink on.
The receptionist was most kind and thoughtful and had switched on the heating to ensure room was warm and inviting as we had x2 young kids with us. He was very helpful and knew area well and provided us with useful local information. Room was lovely, spacious, clean and most suitable for a family of four. We will definitely return
Great location, peaceful, tranquil and surrounded by trees with laughing kookaburra’s. Quick access to Daylesford (about 4 mins in car) and plenty of room for a family with a cottage-like feel. Adults and two kids loves it. Thoroughly enjoyable.
