I booked this hotel based on a scrutiny of other venues by using Booking dot com. I had to book a hotel because at about 4AM my car hit a roo on the highway near Collector. I was carless and 1500KM from my destination (Brisbane). I was adrift with stress and confusion because my car no longer worked (radiator, rooined... LOL... I can pun now but when I booked this hotel I was bereft of humour). I had hours to wait (I got into town at about 630AM and check-in was not until the pub opened, I think at 11AM). In the end I didn't stay the night. I used the room to organise my stress, organise my thoughts, have a nap, and organise a hire car. This is an old school pub hotel. Shared shower/toilet. It's good, honest, and basic.

We didn’t have the breakfast option, but the location was fantastic right in the heart of Goulburn. Close to the take aways, clubs, pubs and anything else you could possibly need. it’s hard to find accommodation for three adults and four young children. It was nice that we were able to stay there with the kids.
Loved the size of the room/apartment. So much room for a family of 5 . So rare for hotels to cater for more than families of 4 in this way. 3 huge beds comfortably housed is. Nice and clean and everything we needed

The location was nice close to 7/11 good for the kids.
Bedding was just right for the family of 4 and plenty of hot water for showers.
We loved the ease of stopping at the Mercure Goulburn on a longer drive with our children. Ordered room service so as to avoid going to a restaurant. Service and food were awesome. 2 bedroom apartment a great option for families. Affordable and comfortable. Will definitely be back!
