The tiny house was perfect everything you need in the kitchen, comfy bed and really good shower. The location was amazing in the forest surrounded by nature and wallabies just wandering around. The best thing about it were the hosts, Barry and Venessa - father and daughter team, they were so welcoming and we had some great chats with them and they brought scones and jam!!! Very knowledgeable about the area and really fun to talk to - would go back just to see them again - thanks so much

The view overlooking the lake was beautiful and the nightly visitors were so cute. The house was clean and modern and the kitchen had everything you would need for cooking meals (bring food though, it's a fair drive to get groceries). The game consoles for kids is a great idea if the weather is no good. Emily is a caring, excellent host, and we had a trouble free, relaxing end to our Tassie trip.

The Lake House is amazing. The house is complete with all things that you need. The view is amazing. We come as a big family. With children and infant. This place accomodates us very well. There are toys and books. My children really enjoyed playing with the toys. It is 1 hour+ from Hobart. And there is a place where you can get some things for cooking. Overall, I really recommend this place if you are looking for a place to wind off from the city. The host is also amazing. I texted her late at night and she still replied me.

Walt is a great host and very generous in what he provides, he has done a fantastic job, restoring cabins, building a great bush track everything was tidy organized, the house highly functional, innovative, practical, warm, great little pot belly fire, great set up with vege garden, chooks, and paddock with goal posts cricket wicket, volleyball net, swings sand pit, great for kids. Exceptional place to stay.
