Close to perfection. Great comfy rooms , beautiful views, super clean, everything you forgot home + more is in your bathroom package. Coffee/tea maker, some free cool beverages, daily chocolate "service". Skiing? Put on your pre warmed ski boots, grab skis open the door of the ski room and you are 10m from the gate to a ski lift of the wonderful Obertauern resort. Tickets? They sell them at the reception. Wellnesing? Lovely pool, 3 saunas, salt cave, outer jacuzzi (imagine snow flakes falling on your head while sitting in the hot tub. Magical.). Choice of tea, cold beverages for free. Fruits and nuts too. Fitness, massages, .. Kids? Superb. Playstation room, animation programs for the youngest, family activities room (billiard, table tennis, calceto. Family hours in the wellness center including saunas. Enjoy fine dining? Superb culinary 4 course menu paired with very good salads and cheese buffets. But what strikes your eyes and tongue is the heavenly deserts. And by the way, breakfast is equally superb. And free afternoon brunch. Don't count on loosing weight.

The location is great, directly next to the slopes. It is a very charming house built in a traditional style but with very modern up to date amenities. Room was very spacious, the sauna was very relaxing after a day of ski and the next day started off with great breakfast. We happened to stop by here in Dec 2021 and enjoyed a couple of meals in the restaurant, and were severed by the wonderful Philippe, so when it popped up as an accommodation option, we grabbed it. And it didn't disappoint. They are going through a staged refurbishment programme, so some of the rooms have been refitted in a modern alpinee style and they are lovely. More will be completed this summer. We've already booked for 2024 so looking forward to our return. And my daughter loved the chance to ride on the snowmobile from the parking to the hotel and back (and Dad is looking forward to the chance to get a ride in a piste basher next year!)
