Very friendly and helpful personell. We travelled as a family with our 5 year old son. We went there for hicking and I got from the reception the best recommendation on where to go.
The hotel is clean, modern, quiet, with a personal touch in every room.
The breakfast had everything we wanted and a cozy atmosphere.
Also the restaurant in the evening was a pleasure. It is situatued right in the center of Großarl, which makes it very easy to either go for a hike right there or take the bus.
I would come back again, any season.

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel nestled in the mountains during the summer. The location was perfect, offering stunning views and a peaceful atmosphere. The staff were incredibly friendly and went above and beyond when I forgot something—they promptly sent it to me via post. Highly recommend!

Breakfast: Excellent choice of fresh, locally sourced produce - eggs, crepes, muesli, yogurt and delicious breads and coffee!
Lunch was wholesome soups and salads.
Afternoon tea was homemade cakes - delicious!
Gourmet and a healthier option for the multiple courses of food offered in the evening by candlelight and served by wonderful waiters. The wine selection is a highlight. Drinks not included but really this was all superb value! Nothing to fault - I won't be able to spa in the UK again I am afraid.
The Spa area is unbelievable - vast but cosy, full of saunas and steams and thermal pools and relaxation - this place is superb if you are looking for a relaxing break with gorgeous views!
Loved this experience and highly, highly recommend for couples, families or anyone looking for a beautiful experience in the Austrian mountains! This family run hotel has literally a heart as their hotel symbol and this says it all - heart is at the very essence of the experience at this beautiful hotel. Thank you Hotel Bismarck. Until we meet again!

Very nice and welcoming staff. They don't speak English very well so some basic knowledge of German is recommended, however they make up for it with very open attitude and hospitality.
My room was spacious, with super comfortable beds and comfortable bathroom. It had all the amenities I could wish for.
The location of the hotel is absolutely superb - close to the centre of Grossarl (very nice) and literally on the slope. You can reach ski lift literally directly from hotel's door. With this ski lift you can ski the whole Grossarl-Dorfgastein ski area which provides plenty of excellent slopes.
Finally, I recommend hotel's restaurant. It serves excellent buffet breakfasts and very good dinners. It's absolutely worth the money it costs. It is also very convenient to have this restaurant in the same building as accommodation.
I am very happy with my stay at this hotel and I hope I'll return to it in the coming years. I wish the whole Grossarl / Gastein valley community better winter conditions than in winter of 2023/24 because it's clear that there were many investments in the whole skiing area and it's very well prepared for skiers.
Centrally located in Bad Hofgastein, Hotel Garni Mühlbacher - inklusive kostenfreiem Eintritt in die Alpentherme offers rooms with a flat-screen cable TV.

Staff were very helpful and courteous. They advised on the best places to visit.
The hotel is the perfect location to the public transport, shops, and restaurants.
The rooms were spacious, clean, and comfortable.
The town is picturesque, and the view from the balcony is exceptional.
As families grow in size, so too do the needs of a family holiday. That’s why family hotels are set up to cater for all ages, from toddlers and kids to teens and adults. Typically, you can expect restaurants with kids’ menus, games rooms, fitness centres and a pool area where children can play and parents can relax.
Very beautiful location as everyone one said. The owner of the house gets full marks with lot of help and clean guide to plan the hiking or other activities. My kids loved her and to surprise they also got a present from her, would love to visit again 😊👍🏻
Very nicely furnished, comfortable apartment, perfect for a family of four or five, parking in front of the house. The landscape is stunning, peaceful, a wonderful place to recharge. It is very convenient that the ski bus stops right in front of the house.
