Our hosts were helpful and responsive both before and during our stay. Unfortunately we never got the opportunity to meet them in person as the keys were left in a lockbox for us. Clear instructions were provided as to the location both of the building and of the lockbox so it was easy to let ourselves in on arrival. It is right by a tram stop, which is handy if you are coming from the station and don't have very heavy luggage to heave on and off, or there are plenty of taxis available if not. Having a lift in the block was a bonus for taking up our luggage when we first arrived.
The apartment itself is beautiful - very light and airy, as well as spacious and comfortable with everything needed to provide a real home from home. It is very modern, spotlessly clean throughout and furnished and equipped to a very high standard. The bed, pillows and linens were extremely comfortable and we slept very well. Electric blinds provide very good light exclusion. The shower was excellent with plenty of hot water.
The kitchen was well equipped with everything needed to cook a proper meal, although it was so hot, we were mainly preparing salads.
There is a bakery directly opposite and several supermarkets within a few minutes walk. It is a pleasant 15 minute walk or a 5 minute tram ride across the river to the old town.
Having a washing machine and access to a drying area was a real bonus.
