The accommodation is about halfway between Hallsatt and Bad Ischl, with free parking. There is an adventure park and playground next to the hotel, which is ideal for families with children.
The family room- 2 large double beds side by side, was comfortable and clean. We were at the end of March, heating was on, not cold. The toilet is separate from the bathroom, both were clean. The bathroom had all the amenities promised at the time of booking.
The staff are friendly and the breakfast is delicious.
The family Grampelhuber were wonderful hosts. Mom, Dad, two sons, two daughter (in law), and two grandchildren, along with a fine and attentive staff. The food, both breakfast and dinner, was outstanding. Music filled the house. We will long look on our Austrian visit to Bad Goisern and Steegwirt fondly.

It's a cute,well maintained, clean apartment with basic kitchen facilities.
There were LED lights behind the bed and the kids loved that. It was a unique feature and therefore, both interesting and fun for kids.
The good thing is that the host seemed very keen to provide their guests a comfortable stay and therefore, were both responsive and receptive to feedback.
Very cosy family hotel with nice facilities. They very helpful and could easily arrange an extra bed for our child even though we managed to miss it in our booking. Rooms are spacious and views are nice. We could use the pool and sauna even though it was a rainy day. Nice stay on the way to explore Hallstatt and surroundings.
