The hotel is situated beautifully on the boards of the Donau. The view from our room was exceptional. The room was spacious although perhaps a bit old-fashioned. Everything! I stopped in town at the Spar and picked up food for dinner and breakfast. Had researched directions on how to get to Haizing on my bicycle. Found the house and let myself in. It is about 2.5 miles from the town of Aschach and the Danube, so you are away from the traffic. Farm nearby, could hear the cows mooing. It was GREAT. Did not realize Katrina and her boyfriend Rhiner, actually live on the second floor, they came home while I was working on the Internet. Great people, very helpful. This was a magnificent experience for me. One of the two places I have stayed on this month long trip with screens on the windows. Great value.
