The staff was very friendly, the room was spacious and very comfortable, the shower had a good pressure and temperature the breakfast was good and the location near the beach was the best.

Less than 5 minutes' walk from the beach, this Santa Barbara inn features an outdoor heated pool and a hot tub. All guestrooms offer free WiFi. Spotlessly clean, beautifully maintained. A quick, pleasant walk to the fun Funk Zone and the beach. We drove but could easily have taken the train -- also close to the train station. Not as glamorous as Hotel California but world's less expensive. Good price performer.

Hideaway Santa Barbara, A Kirkwood Collection Hotel provides rooms in Santa Barbara near Santa Barbara City College and Antioch College. We stayed for 3 nights in mid September 2023. The hotel was exactly as pictured when we booked. Light and airy and spotlessly clean. When we arrived we weren't sure about the location, as it's close to the 101 Freeway, but it turned out to be great as you can walk to most of the attractions in Santa Barbara. The staff were excellent. Really good communications about breakfast (which was excellent), housekeeping, night cover phone numbers and even a free glass of wine at happy hour. We stayed in room 9 and enjoyed the little balcony (big enough for 2) where we sat and watched the sun go down behind the mountains.

Located next to the Funk Zone in Santa Barbara, the Hotel Californian is just steps from the beach and features an outdoor pool. We only stayed one night, and wish it could have been a week. A stunning hotel with great facilities and helpful staff. Hopefully will return soon.

Totally exceeded our expectations, perfect and comfortable place. We loved it! Close walk yo the beach, next door to one of our favorite restaurants.It changed our entire evening when we thought it wasn't gona be good cuss we had book somewhere else and it was terrible, thanks for everything!

This Santa Barbara hotel is located a 10-minute walk from West Beach. The hotel offers an outdoor swimming pool, free Wi-Fi and a daily continental breakfast. The stay there was dreamy and magical. Starting with the pleasant and warm welcome at the entrance including an invitation to cookies and wine for no particular reason. The place is simply lovely and green with a lovely little pool. Definitely one of the most beautiful places we visited - and we would love to visit again in the future.
