QUEEN BEE has surpassed my expectations. This wonderful, recently renovated historic house welcomes its guests in fantastic comfort. The beds were first class, the rooms spotlessly clean and the rooms spacious. The rooms boast stucco ceilings, a fantastic parquet floor and a very comfortable bed. The house is in a great, quiet location with no through traffic, cosy cafes, restaurants in the next neighbourhood and a small supermarket right next door. What's more, it's hard to imagine a better location for your stay. The metro station is a 5-minute walk away and the railway station a 5-minute taxi ride. The most important tourist places (St. Sophia's Cathedral, Maidan, the big boulevard, the opera house, Andreas' descent, city centre) are also within walking distance. I felt very comfortable here and will definitely book it again on my next visit.

Just 10 mins walk from Golden Gate. Even if is located in the center, the room was isolated from the noise of the street. Set in Kyiv, 500 metres from St. Michael's Golden-Domed Monastery, The Key offers accommodation with free WiFi and free private parking. Exactly what I was expecting, clean affordable and great location. Even though the lady behind the desk didn't speak English and my Ukrainian isn't great we still managed to get checked in and to my room and even after the key wouldn't work she came straight up and rectified it immediately without being asked.
