Peaceful setting, attentive staff, beautiful hot springs, exquisite food, the list goes on. I spent a weekend here to 'reset' after a busy time and returned home completely refreshed. Well situated in the Beitou District district of Taipei, Grand Pleasure Spring Hotel is located 1.9 miles from MRT Fuxinggang Station, 2.8 miles from MRT Zhongyi Station and 3.4 miles from MRT Guandu... The rooms were very nice standard rooms. The bathroom though was awesome! Huge soaking tub- easily holds 2 people- that you can fill with nice hot water from the local hot springs.

Stylish, Japanese feel to the room meshed with clean-lined modernism. The spa was very enjoyable and the water makes you feel amazing. This is very much a couple’s place though, as the room has zero privacy of any kind- glass walls to the private spa and bathing area. So if you’re traveling with someone, make sure you’re “friendly.” I enjoyed the breakfast as well.

Featuring free WiFi and a sun terrace, Hotel Royal Beitou offers accommodations in Taipei, 1.4 mi from New Beitou Hot Spring. the room had a hot tub which filled from the hot springs. It was located just opposite the MRT station with easy access to shops and food. It was also within easy reach of some tourist attractions. The staff don’t speak lot of English (no expectation that they should given we were visiting Taiwan) but really make an effort to make you feel welcome and to help you as you go along. We had a mix up over our departure date - nothing to do with this hotel - and they quickly came to our rescue and sorted it out so the holiday wasn’t spoilt.
