The rooms were very nice standard rooms. The bathroom though was awesome! Huge soaking tub- easily holds 2 people- that you can fill with nice hot water from the local hot springs.

This is very much a couple’s place though, as the room has zero privacy of any kind- glass walls to the private spa and bathing area. So if you’re traveling with someone, make sure you’re “friendly.” I enjoyed the breakfast as well.

The Gaia Hotel features accommodation with classic design and free Wi-Fi. There are 3 restaurants in the hotel which is PIACERE restaurant, Qiyan Chinese Restaurant, and Moon Shabushabu. Wonderful staff, restaurants, onsen, location. We felt terribly pampared! Is a really wonderful place to stay to experience Beitou. The onsen with indoor and outdoor options, thoughtful design for relaxation, was so therapeutic. Definitely a place we would come back to.
