Offering a restaurant, Kindness Hotel-Hualien is located in Hualien. Free WiFi access is available throughout the property. Guests can enjoy free parking. We had a really good experience at the Kindness hotel. Staring from the front desk that was always sufficiently staffed and competent. Our rooms were clean (!), spacious and everything worked properly (temperature control, Japan style toilets etc). Breakfast was sufficient (some suggestions for improvement in the other section). Additionally, there were two coffee machines available in the lobby at all times and an ice cream and snack bar open most of the time And they served dinner every night. I would absolutely stay in this place again, very good value for money. The location is close to the train station which was convenient on our arrival and departure. Otherwise the neighborhood is not especially nice. But we got around (to hikes) with a driver and explored the town on foot.

Fupin Hotel is a 5-minute drive from Tungtamen Night Market and a 15-minute drive from Hualien city centre, where famous local cuisine and street food can be enjoyed. Free laundry and free bicycle for usage. Location was close to the night market and cycling takes only 5 mins. Perfect stay. The room was sparkling clean as well!

We experienced some earthquakes there and felt safe. Parking fee was included. Hotel offers a wide variety of choice and is presented as pictures.

Mostly comfortable, spacious There was a group of maybe 100 students that checked in on the same day as me, I could hear them loudly in the corridor but much less in the room so the sound proofing was good.
