Ideally situated in the centre of Chiang Mai, Smile Lanna Hotel features air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi, free private parking and room service. The hotel staff are very friendly and professional. The room is very clean and comfortable. The hotel is near the old town and located beside a main street but it’s like an oasis once you walk in. Very quiet and nice. The swimming pool is great and fruits are provided at the pool side during happy hour (2pm~4pm everyday) And the breakfast definitely cannot be missed! Variety of breakfast is amazing. You can have many Thailand dishes and also western style such as omelets, bread and salad. Highly recommend this hotel and I will definitely go back next time when I visit Chiangmai.

Attractively situated in the Hai ya district of Chiang Mai, Asa Hotel is situated 1.4 km from Chiang Mai Night Bazaar, less than 1 km from Chiang Mai Gate and a 18-minute walk from Chedi Luang Temple.... Great value for money, friendly staff and comfortable, albeit somewhat simple, room. Simple but delicious breakfast. The staff was accommodating and offered us vegetarian alternatives and even a to-go bag when we had a 5am tour. The hotel is not within the walls of the old town but its location is quite calm and nice. Loads of smaller temples nearby, as well as a busy night market. A big plus is that drinking water is made available around the clock and free of charge. Coffee, tea and snacks too. Overall we enjoyed our stay at Asa and would recommend it for anyone who doesn’t mind a bit of extra walk in exchange of reasonable prices and cozy ambience.
