Everything was excellent from check in to check out. Rooms were good and the breakfast was very good with different dishes daily. We thought that the location was slightly far from the street food but Saturday night market proved us wrong. 7/11 is just round the corner. The poolside area is fantastic to laze around. Free flow of bottled water and tea, coffee with biscuits.

Dream and the cute young lady (the receptionists) always greet us with a cheery smile and asked us about our day. Not only a receptionist but also concierge too giving us advice on activities and helping us book an elephant sanctuary tour and cooking lessons. These were same price as if we did ourselves but it was nice to have Dream do the booking in Thai for us. There is a young man who is na very helpful person. The hotel is 4 stories without an elevator and he will help carry your luggage up and down the stairs. He is always smiling and asking if he can help us. The staff are super nice, kind and friendly, they treat you feel like part of the family. The hotel is modern, warm, clean in great walking location distance to everything. Comfortable bed with two pillows per guest. Our room have a small balcony and a clothes drying rack. The room is daily stocked up with couple glass bottle of water, coke and snacks. There are bicycles available for guest to borrow. Delicious Thai & western home cook meal for breakfast. Every day the variety of dishes are rotated daily. Overall comments: Na Baan ya feel like home sweet home a nice cozy hotel just outside the old city; easy walking distance to lots of local markets, restaurants and cultural sites; and most of all, great staff that are welcoming and will ensure your stay is memorable.

Located near Chiang Mai Gate, BED Chiangmai Gate Hotel offers comfortable accommodation with free WiFi access. The property has a garden with a pool and a sundeck. What a hidden gem! Loved this place so much. The staff here are by far the highlight. The make you feel like family and are just so nice, kind, there to help at any time and there for a chat too. There is free water, tea, coffee, juice, cereal, snacks all day and night long. No kettle in the room but there because you get them free in the reception. Which was nice as each time I went down I then stayed and had a chat with the staff who were always so interesting. Breakfast is excellent. It’s a mixture of international and Thai and each day is different. The room is lovely, not huge but good enough. The pool was really cold which was nice after a hot humid day out and about. When we first arrived I didn’t feel it was a good area because it was outside of the old town but actually it was fab. There was so much to see so close by: a really nice coffee shop and restaurant around the corner called Cozy, the Saturday street market steps away, loads of laundry places on the next street, some gorgeous temples in the area too. My favourite was the silver temple which was like mins walk away. I highly recommend this place for a stay. We honestly didn’t want to leave. Loved everything about it. A huge kudos to the staff you make it amazing!
