It was such an incredible experience to stay in Thee Vijit Lanna. The breakfast was wonderful, the swimming pool was a surprise as they used clean salt water, every staff was so nice and friendly. Everyday when we got back, the staff at the lobby always greeted us with a warm smile and our room was always carefully cleaned, which made me really feel at home. Also, the details like the slippers, the bed and the toiletries are perfect. And we were lucky to meet a super cute cat who is gorgeous and easygoing;) I really wish I could come back some time in the future.

Beautiful boutique hotel down a quiet lane way. In a central location. The room was clean and spacious, with a generous bathroom and balcony. Comfy bed and linen. The pool area was a lovely space to relax and read after a hot day out and about. The breakfast in the upstairs open air restaurant was perfect with a good selection to choose from. Staff were delightful - very helpful and friendly

This property was perfect. Centrally located in Old Town, its super easy to get around, walk to local street food and shops and the waterfront markets and Chinatown. Great pool, restaurant served a delicious breakfast and friendly staff. Well maintained.

Everything- this Hotel is situated in the old town part of Chiang Mai, found easy access to taxis and Tul tuk, lots to do and see within the area, walking around ,Temples everywhere, also great coffee shops and cafes. Hotel is small only 30+ rooms with very friendly staff who are genuinely pleasant and attentive. I don’t think I have Ever stayed anywhere as clean ! The staff are constantly cleaning communal areas and so the place is spotless. Great aircon, except in lift and corridor. Breakfast was a good range of Thai and European foods, like toast and cereal, coffee,tea ,juice etc. Always fresh fruit and some yummy Thai foods to try. I love eating curries for breakfast, I know that doesn’t appeal to everyone but if you expect everything to be as in your home country- why bother to travel ! I thought breakfast was great with the basic staples every morning but a variety of warm dishes too. Staff were really helpful in explaining what unfamiliar foods were. Room and decor throughout the hotel was clean and Minimalist , beds very comfortable and showers were amazing. Fridge in room and endless supply of cool bottle water and coffees always available from help yourself machine in downstairs area. A small but beautiful pool area, however more than adequate for a cool off. Can get laundry done and returned to you the same day for a reasonable fee. I would return to Por Arak in a heartbeat if returning to Chiang Mai.
